Morrinsville is situated approx 137km south-east of Auckland (1hr 40min), 33km north-east of Hamilton (30min), 104km north-west of Rotorua (1hr 30min).

Morrinsville is a friendly rural town situated between the Kaimai Ranges and the Waikato River. The easy-rolling terrain surrounding the town makes for some of the best farmland in New Zealand. Morrinsville has a population of approx 9,000 people.

It’s sure to be one of the most unique (and hilarious) things you do in New Zealand!

Not only will you learn about one of New Zealand’s largest industries through a short film and dairy farming machinery through the ages, but you’ll also get the chance to learn about life in Morrinsville as a soldier settlement, and through education and medical displays. The 1873McDonald Cottage is also a highlight giving you an insight into early settler life.
